Located in the northwest of Hunan province, Changde was regarded
as the throat of Sichuan province and the door of the provinces
of Yunnan and Guizhou. To the east of it lies the Dongting Lake;
to the south, Changsha ; to the west, Sichuan and Guizhou province;

capital of Hunan province, and 195km away from Zhangjiajie,

Enjoining a humid climate and fertile soil, Changde is a

meadow of 6460000 mu, available water farming area of 1000000
mu and woods and fruit trees of 7000000 mu, Changde has a

2000000 kw with the 432 rivers running 6775 km and the Yuan
River and the Li River, two of the major four rivers in Hunan,

famous for such scenic spots as the Peach Blossom Fairyland,

Five counties of Changde city serve the nation-wide needs
as a base of agricultural products. The yields of grain cotton
and oil plants take the leading place in Hunan province. Such

and high quality as fruits, fiber crops, tea, sugar, silk,
tobacco, pork, beef, mutton, poultry, fish, tortoise, turtle,
bullfrog and pearl. As the industrial base in the northwest
